Dr. SHE, Wan-Jou is currently an Assistant Professor at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST). NAIST is the only graduate university listed in "Top Global University Project" by JAPAN's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and its among the top in JAPAN in terms of average research expenses per teacher, average number of research grants per person, average research grant per person, and average patent income per person. It also has the world's most advanced natural language processing technology (NLP). Professor She's main service is the Social Computing Lab, which focuses on the application of NLP and other information extraction technologies. Under the leadership of Prof. Eiji Aramaki (荒牧 英治), the lab also has rich experience in the design of medical AI and medical tech design. Professor She has a background in creative design and is familiar with the development and application of artificial intelligence in the field, and is going to bring the latest international perspective.
