🔔 Who Are Proclaimers?

Proclaimers are people of deep faith who have encountered the Word of God and are called to share it with others. They are spiritual messengers, entrusted with making Scripture come alive during the liturgy. 📖 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor…” — Luke 4:18

📜 What They Do

• 🗣️ Proclaim the Scriptures during Mass with reverence, clarity, and joy. 📖 “Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture…” — 1 Timothy 4:13

• 🙏 Prepare prayerfully, allowing the Word to speak first to their own hearts. 📖 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105

• 💒 Support the liturgy by helping the faithful hear the voice of God. 📖 “Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” — Romans 10:17

• ✨ Serve as vessels, not performers—making space for the Holy Spirit to speak through them. 📖 “We have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God…” — 2 Corinthians 4:7

• ❤️ Loves the Word of God and desires to share it with others. 📖 “I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.” — Psalm 119:16

• 🕯️ Is spiritually grounded and committed to ongoing formation. 📖 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…” — Colossians 3:16

• 🤲 Approaches the ministry with humility and gratitude. 📖 “Whoever speaks, let it be as one who speaks the oracles of God…” — 1 Peter 4:11

• 👂 Is a listener before being a speaker—attuned to the Spirit and the community. 📖 “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.” — 1 Samuel 3:10
