VALENTINE’S CELEBRATION: This Sunday 12th February the Parish is celebrating this day of love with a dress-up, tea/coffee and cupcakes, bring and share braai, lots of fun and love to share. Book a special dedication song to your true love at R5-00 a song or buy raffle ticket to win our ‘Love-a-lishious’ hamper at only R10-00 a ticket.

• TEA/COFFEE AND SNACKS: After the 9h00 Mass, we will have our monthly social gathering, and ALL ARE WELCOME. Thank you for all the beautiful cupcakes, and we urge you to support the eats and treats table. Please help our hostess, Martie, to tidy up.

• VALENTINE’S CELEBRATION: Join us today for a "bring and share/ braai, lots of fun and love all round. Fires for the braai will be provided, bring your own picnic, utensils for eating, and drinks. Book a special dedication song to your true love for only R5 per song or buy a raffle ticket to win our ‘Love-a-lishious’ hamper for only R10 per ticket. Please wear something red, pink, or white on the day. Have a photo taken with your true love and buy a gift to give on the 14th.

• CATECHISM: The parents of the catechism children are invited to attend an important meeting after the 9am Mass next Sunday 19th Feb ’23 in the church  

• PARISH COUNCIL MEETING: All P.P.C. members to meet in the hall, on the 19th February 2023, after 09H00. Mass.

• Mass Intentions Sun: 9:00: On the 11th February Athol and Daleen Wright celebrate their 39th year wedding anniversary of Marriage. Congratulations. May our Lord continue to bless them and their families

• ASH  WEDNESDAY: Please return all Palm Crosses, from Palm Sunday 2022, next Sunday. They will be burned to form ashes for Ash Wednesday on 22th February 2023.

• A message from Justice, Peace and Non - Violence: A message from the Justice, Peace and Non- Violence solidarity. The Archdiocese of Pretoria Commission will host a Security Cluster Day on 25th February 2023 at Sacred Heart Cathedral starting at 9am. Members of our Parish who are in the Security Cluster (i.e. SAPS, SANDF, Metro Police, Correctional Service and Private Security companies) and the parish group, are invited to spend the day with the Auxiliary Bishop (Speak to Dominic 0603730046 for further questions)

• ANNUAL RETREAT: Please take note of the annual Retreat and diarise it. Starting Friday evening, the 24th March to Sunday, 26th March, so that, we as a family, all, can be part of this important spiritual renewal.

• Proclaimer’s : A beautiful ministry that brings alive the WORD in our hearts. “They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he (Jesus) talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the scriptures?” Luke 24:32. • The date for the Proclaimer workshop is the 11 th March, 4pm. The commissioning will be on the 12th of March for those who attended.

• CANCER RELAY FOR LIFE Pretoria: The Fight CANCER relay is a fun filled overnight team experience to raise funds for education, care and support services, taking place on 18-19 March at Tou trek Park. Please speak to Yolande Newing or WhatsApp her on 083 537 3555 if you are interested. It is a very worthy cause. Cancer is treatable if detected in time. Please see the full poster at the entrance of the church. Let us be a TEAM.

• GROTTO & WALL OF REMEMBERANCE PROJECT 2022: The improvements to this area are almost complete and look amazing.  Please use an envelope, placed at the entrance of the Church, to make a contribution towards this project. We appreciate the continued contributions our parishioners make towards all special projects.

• REPOSITORY/ROSARIES: Icons are available for purchase. Please ask Margaret or Lionete if you need anything new. New Pastoral Plan Booklet, available at R20-00 and Liturgical Calendars for 2023 at R30-00 each.

• SHARING IS CARING: Thank you for your generosity in reaching out to the less fortunate members of our parish. We urge all parishioners to help by bringing any tinned food, milk, soup powder, soya mince next week. Contact Father Shibu or Margaret for help.

• FOR SAFETY REASONS ALL PARISHIONERS MUST ON TIME.  The gates will be locked as soon as Mass starts and will only be opened once all parishioners have exited the church.  Please be vigilant.
