Heavenly Father, Thank You for giving us Your only begotten Son as a ransom for the redemption of our sins. I can’t imagine how it must have pained You to give Him to us knowing that in 33 years, He will be tortured and put to death, a death on the cross, yet You sacrificed Him for the love of us. Today I want to thank You for the innumerable blessings you have bestowed on us. We are often ungrateful because we know no better. Help us dear Lord to draw closer to You each day, because without You we are nothing. Help us to know You, to love You, to serve You and to glorify Your most Holy Name. Amen

THE CHRISTMAS SEASON A. SUNDAYS AND HOLYDAYS
25TH DECEMBER. THE BIRTH OF OUR LORD (Night/Day)
Priest:
My dear friends, on this (night) day the Son of God was born into our world and became man-with-us and God-with-us. Let us ask him for help in all our needs, for we are now his family, his brothers and his sisters.
Proclaimer;
May your people feel the joy of your presence in their lives, and keep them united in your grace and truth. Lord, hear us.
R: Lord, graciously hear us
Help us to make room for you in our lives, in everything we do: from the time we spend in church to the way we drive our cars, Lord, hear us.
R: Lord, graciously hear us
Help us to share what we have with the poor, because you loved us and became poor so that we might live. Lord, hear us.
R: Lord, graciously hear us
May we never be afraid to live as Christians, for you were not afraid to become man and share our suffering. Lord, hear us.
R: Lord, graciously hear us.
Priest:
Father in heaven, on this (night) day you revealed your love to men in the person of a child who was your only Son. Grant that We too may reveal your love by what we say and do. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
R: Amen.
