THE SEASON OF ADVENT
4th Sunday of advent
Priest:
My dear friends, in this time of preparation we remember how Mary believed in God completely, took his Word to her heart and became the mother of our Saviour. Let us pray to God that the men and women of our time will receive Christ in faith and love.
Proclaimer;
Deepen the faith of your people and help us all to pray: 'Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven'. Lord, hear us.
R: Lord, graciously hear us
Give salvation to this world of ours and let men see your Christ as the light which shines through the darkness of sin. Lord, hear us.
R: Lord, graciously hear us
Grant that we may recognise Christ, when he comes to us in those who need our help. Lord, hear.
R: Lord, graciously hear us
Grant that children may give Christ a special welcome when he comes at Christmas time. Lord, hear us.
