❈ TEA AND COFFEE: Everybody is invited to the monthly social meeting, sharing a cup of coffee or tea and some eats, after 09:00 am Mass. The Youth group is hosting tea this morning. Please ask for a disposable container if you would like to take left-over food home.
❈ GROTTO & WALL OF REMEMBERANCE PROJECT: We are making changes to this area to enhance the ambiance and practicality for those using it. There are envelopes at the entrance of the Church, we humbly ask for donations towards this very costly but necessary improvement.
❈ PARISH COUNCIL MEETING: The next PPC meeting will take place on the 18th September after the 09:00 am Mass. We invite all interesting parties to attend.
❈ SHARING IS CARING: As the economic situation is getting worse in our country the need for help in our parish is growing. Please speak to Father Shibu or Margaret if you need help with food. We urge all parishioners to help by bringing Maize meal, rice, pasta, milk, milk powder, tinned fish/meat, jam, peanut butter, stock cubes, tea, coffee, sugar, baked beans, or anything you can next week. Thank you for your generosity.
❈ Planned giving: We would like to thank all our parishioners who give generous donations. Should you wish to join our Planned giving and require envelopes for the rest of the year please contact our Chairman, Manuel De Abreu. For those who would like to donate electronically (EFT) please see the banking details in the bulletin.
❈ Sanitizing of Hands and wearing of Masks: Although Covid19 Regulations have been repealed; sanitizer will still be available for those who wish to use it. The wearing of masks are optional. Please show consideration and respect fellow parishioners’ choices.
❈ Personal Safety: Parents should please accompany children when they need to go out.
Children should not be allowed to loiter around outside during Mass.
❈ AFRICAN LANGUAGE BIBLES: Those interested to buy SeTswana-, Sepedi-, or other Bibles, please place orders with Margaret or Lionete today, we would like to finalise the order and get these Bibles to those who are eagerly waiting. Bibles are available at R130.00 each.
❈ FOR SAFETY REASONS ALL PARISHIONERS SHOULD BE ON TIME. The gates will be closed 5 minutes after Mass has started. They will remain closed. No hooting please. Let us respect our Lord and be on time.
❈ REPOSITORY: We have a variety of Rosaries, Crosses and other Icons available for purchase. Please ask Margaret or Lionete if you need anything new.
