Very important: Even if you have been vaccinated, social distancing and sanitising are still essential. The disease and the spread of it are in our hands. Only half the capacity of the church may be filled during lockdown level one; in our case it is 110 people.
+ Welcome: We welcome Father Rafa Armada for helping us out. We hope you will feel welcome and at home amongst us.
+ Saturday Evening Mass : There will be no Saturday evening Mass till Lent God’s blessing on the New Year
+ Catechism: Lorne would like us to kick start the year early with catechism. This Sunday, after the 09:00 am Mass, all catechists are invited to a meeting with Lorne Newing the Coordinator. On the sixteenth (Saturday), we would like to have a small workshop from 3 to 5 PM, so please attend these meetings to ensure that catechism will have a smooth start this year.
+ Christmas Greeting and Parish Budget: A Greeting from Fr Shibu, the Parish budget for 2022 and the Planned Giving Envelopes will be placed in a box for collection by all parishioners registered on the Planned-giving program. Parishioners who are not registered are welcome to take one of the un-addressed envelopes for the same messages.
+ Joy of the Gospel 2022: Get your copy for next year at only R100. This book is valuable for deepening your faith and following the readings through the year.
+ SHARING IS CARING: Should you need any help with food, please speak to Margaret so that we can help you. It is our duty to take care of the poor, yet we want to thank you for the donations you generously make every week. Please bring along some soap, laundry soap, tooth paste, roll on and other toiletries next week. All donations can be placed in the container provided.
+ Repository: We have lovely new rosaries available for purchase. Please make suggestions for additional items to stock and purchase from Lionete or Margaret.
+ God’s blessing on the New Year: Happy New Year: We pray that God will fill the coming year with health of body, mind, soul, and spirit; renew the gifts of the Spirit within us and inspire us with new ways to serve and show God’s mercy to others. Today is the Last day of Christmastide.
