If your name is not published in the bulletin for the Birthday week, you are not registered as a parishioner. Please ask Manuel or Father for a form.
Very important: Even if you have been vaccinated, social distancing and sanitising are still essential. The disease and the spread of it are in our hands. Only half the capacity of the church may be filled during lockdown level one; in our case it is 110 people.
+ Liturgical calendar 2022: Get your copy from Margaret or Lionete for only R30.
+ Joy of the Gospel 2022: Get your copy for next year at only R100. This book is valuable for deepening your faith and following the readings through the year.
+ Christmas Market Thank you to all who made donations to make this day possible. Your valuable time and generosity are much appreciated. We made a wonderful profit on the day. Thank you for supporting us by buying goodies and just enjoying the day together. The bid for the Bath Hamper was won by Mr. Lazarus and the fruit Hamper bid was won by Mrs. Terry Stevens. The winners of the "guess how many beans" competition are: first prize Michelle Petzer and second prize Nkuli. Congratulations! You will put you in contact with Ulisha and Sebastian our sponsors.
+ ‘Thanks Giving Celebration’: The way in which you showed appreciation for God’s grace through the past year in protecting us from all evil is shown in your generous donations towards the upkeep and maintenance of our church. Thank you very, very much
+ Confirmation: Will take place on Sunday the 12th of December. Please keep the candidates in prayer during these last days of preparation. Bishop Dabula Mpako will lead the Confirmation Sacrament. Please bring a plate of food to share along with a cup of tea after the confirmation and spend time with the Bishop.
+ SHARING IS CARING: Taking care of the poor is our duty. Thank you for your continued generosity. Should you need any help, please speak to Father Shibu. Please bring along some toothpaste, laundry soap, washing powder, soap and toiletries next week. Please consider putting a Christmas parcel together for a family in need. All donations can be placed in the container provided.
+ Repository: We have lovely new rosaries available for purchase. Please make suggestions for additional items to stock and purchase from Lionete or Margaret.
