If your name is not published in the bulletin for the Birthday week, you are not registered as a parishioner. Please ask Manuel or Father for a form.
Registration for Mass: Good news, at this lockdown level we no longer required to register for Mass. Very important: Even if you have been vaccinated, social distancing and sanitising are still essential. The disease and the spread of it are in our hands. Only half the capacity of the church may be filled during lockdown level one; in our case it is 110 people.
Sanitising of the Church: Thank you to young and old who are so willing to do this task after each Mass.
Liturgical calendar 2022: Get your copy from Margaret or Lionete for only R30
Joy of the Gospel 2022: Get your copy for next year at R100. This book is valuable for deepening your faith and following the readings through the year.
Repository: We have lovely new rosaries available for purchase. Please make suggestions for additional items to stock and purchase from Lionete or Margaret.
Christmas Market: Christmas market - 27 and 28 November.
We have decided to open the market on Saturday from 5 pm. PLEASE deliver your donations prior to the date and time. The auction of the BATH HAMPER and FRUIT CAKE AND FRUIT HAMPER will be after the 9 am Mass on Sunday. NEEDS AND REQUESTS: We need Helpers to serve and sell. Donations of cold drinks and ice cream cones. STALLS:
1.Tombola/ stocking fillers. We still need many more items, knitted, children's, kitchen, bathroom,eats, babies, Christmas etc. Please.
2. Cakes, Biscuits, Pies, Tarts, Puddings, Rusks etc please bring on Saturday.
3. Traditional food: Mogodu, Mogoro, Beans served with Samp or Chicken stew and Samp for R50.00 a serving
4. Boerewors roll Combo At R30.00 only ordered in advance.
5. Water, cooldrinks and Ice cream
PLEASE REMEMBER LOTS OF CASH so you don't miss out on anything.
Thanks Giving Celebration’: On November 28th, the parish will celebrate a special intention of thanksgiving for the year just past. To make a special donation use an envelope provided at the entrance of Church which must be handed in next week-end.
Catechism classes: Classes are for secondary school learners and Confirmation this weekend. Next week ALL learners should attend classes
First Holy Communion: The First Holy Communion Mass will be held at 11:00 on Sunday, November 21st. We pray that this Sacrament will always be the source of life and sustained faith for all those who receive it. Thank you Mrs. Rita Jardim and Father Shibu for preparing these youngsters, may you be blesse
Sanitising prior to communion: Those who are receiving Holy Communion, please line up in advance to sanitise your hands.
SHARING IS CARING: Taking care of the poor is our duty. Thank you for your continued generosity. Should you need any help, please speak to Father Shibu. Bring Soya mince, tinned meat/ fish, soup powder and/or tinned vegetables next week. Please consider putting a Christmas parcel together for a family in need. All donations can be placed in the container provided.
