Conference theme

The theme of this year’s conference is Challenges and opportunities of working with technology-enhanced listening. For our purposes, technology-enhanced listening predominantly examines the use of digital applications that take advantage of the computer’s ability to provide multimodal input or enhanced input and that encourage learner's control. By computer, we mean a tablet, mobile phone, desktop computer and/or laptop.

This year, language teachers worldwide were forced to use technology as part of their language lessons. Although we heard of struggles and adaptations, we also heard about successful and engaging experiences.
