The 2nd Workshop on “Digital Game-Based Leaning and Gamification Instructional Strategies for K-12 Schools” will be held on Manila, the Philippines, from November 26 to November 27, 2018. This workshop seeks for full, short papers, live demonstrations and practices of Game-Based leaning and Gamification Instructional Strategy in Elementary and High School. The aims of this workshop are to provide a platform for the academic researchers, elementary and high school teachers, instructional designers and developers around the world to communicate on the instructional design and teaching experiences that involved game-based learning and gamification. Topics in this workshop include the applications of game-based learning design, development of educational games, gamified teaching plan and practices in elementary and high schools. This workshop is to be organized as an interactive session for a half-day. Besides oral paper presentations, the participants are encouraged to introduce live demonstrations for their proposed educational games, which are expected to promote the interaction and communication among participants.

Topic of interest to this workshop will include but not be limited to:

● Literature Review, Theoretical and Trends of Game-Based Learning or Gamified Teaching

● Applications and Development of Educational Games in Elementary and High School Teaching

● Action Researches/Case Studies of Employing Game-Based Learning in Elementary and High School

● Gamed-Based Learning Activity Design and Teaching Plan

● Adapting Technology in Gamified Teaching Activity

● Empirical Studies of Game-Based Learning and Gamified Teaching Activity

● Process Analysis of Game-Based Learning and Gamified Teaching Activity

● Students’ Feedbacks on Game-Based Learning and Gamified Teaching Activity

● Interface Design of Digital Educational Game

● Adapting Technology in Board Game or Physical Game

● Management of Teacher Community for Game-Based Learning and Gamified Teaching

● Social Culture Issues on Game-Based Learning and Gamified Teaching

1. the page limit for full paper is 8 pages, for short paper is 5 pages

2. make sure the format follows the template in the Author Guidelines of ICCE 2018
