Welcome!
This is where I cover TV shows. I pretty much use the same standard for assessment as I do with movies. The only difference will be a slight change in format. I'll do a plot breakdown as usual for each episode, but the summation will be saved for the end, where I'll formally assess the show's quality as a whole.
Just the same, the foundational pillars for writing assessment are:
Plot - The sequence of events and how they play out. How cohesive is this narrative? How well does it flow? How naturally do the events play out?
Character - Our agents of the story. How compelling are they? How strongly are they written? Are they consistent?
World - Our setting for the story. How believable is it? How consistent is it with itself and the story at hand?
Theme - The ideas presented by the story. How fully-realized are they? Are they supported by the text?
These are all scored out of ten, then an overall score is calculated from the average. I'll then give my own personal, subjective take on the film :)
With all that said, here's the archived list of the TV shows I've covered!
