Foreword
People often jump into the #cas channel in the IBO server to ask: "does x activity count as CAS?"
As much as we'd like to assure you that it can be (as long as a learning experience is involved), IB has lenient guidelines which has stated (check the CAS Guide for details). However, CAS coordinators will have the final say on the matter as long as it's not more lenient than what IB asked for. If your coordinator says no, then you can only either respectfully challenge them or figure out another activity.
Your school is the one who will determine if you pass or not afterall, not IB.
TL;DR: Go ask your CAS coordinator.
