This organization was established to foster connections among students who will support the future of the marine industry, creating a smooth cooperative framework for the industry from the present to the future.
IBO stands for
Innovators of Blue Ocean
reflecting both the organization's name and mission to create innovative solutions in untapped and low-competition markets.
Through study sessions and projects, we aim to bring together students from diverse marine-related fields, sparking new waves of innovation in Japan's marine industry.
Our organization plays a key role in forming a project platform that provides a broad perspective on the marine industry, focusing on students who have participated in events hosted by the Nippon Foundation's OCEAN INNOVATION CONSORTIUM (OIC).
In the past, student connections often faded or became limited after participating in OIC events. Recognizing this, we saw the need for a more continuous and broader network. Thus, we established this organization to maintain lasting connections among students who will shape the future of the marine industry.
Through this platform, we aim to create a smooth and effective cooperative framework that links the present and future of the marine industry.
