There are three ways IB students can earn credit for college: Concurrent Enrollment, Exam Credit, and Dual Enrollment.
Concurrent Enrollment earns college credit through LCCC while a student takes a class at East High. The East High teacher submits the college grade to LCCC.
EHS IB Concurrent Enrollment
Exam Credit earns college credit based on IB exams taken in May of Junior/Senior year. These vary by college, and Mr. Simineo can help you find what credit your college will offer. The table below shows IB credit offerings for the University of Wyoming.
Exam Credit
Dual Enrollment earns college credit by taking classes through LCCC, either online or in-person. Students also earn East High credit for these courses. Representatives from LCCC stop at East regularly to help guide students through this process. If this is something you are interested in, contact Mrs. Steil in the College and Career Center.
