All students that hold only a Thai passport must study either IGCSE First Language Thai or Thai as an Additional Language during Year 10 and 11.
A student currently in Set 1 for Thai Language should study Thai First Language.
A student that will benefit from having a strong ability to communicate clearly, accurately and effectively in both Thai speech and writing, in their chosen career.
A student interested in studying Higher or Standard Level Thai A for their IBDP.

A student who is currently studying Mandarin in Year 9, and whose chosen career will call upon them to use Mandarin effectively for practical communication.
Mandarin Chinese is spoken by more than 1 billion people. It is the official language of Mainland China and Taiwan, as well as one of the official languages of Singapore and the United Nations.
A student interested in studying Standard Level Mandarin B or Mandarin Ab-initio for their IBDP. A student who achieves an A or A* grade for IGCSE Mandarin cannot study Mandarin Ab Initio for their IBDP. A student who has Mandarin as their First Language cannot study Foreign Language Mandarin.

A student who is is currently studying Spanish in Year 9, and whose chosen career will call upon them to use Spanish effectively for practical communication.
Spanish is spoken by 414 million people worldwide, making it the second most spoken language. 52 million USA citizens speak Spanish.
A student interested in studying Standard Level Spanish B or Spanish Ab-initio for their IBDP. A student who achieves an A or A* grade for IGCSE Spanish cannot study Spanish Ab Initio for their IBDP. A student who has Spanish as their First Language cannot study Foreign Language Spanish.
