Indian American Youth Leadership’s Know Your Rights (KYR) Initiative is a nonpartisan campaign designed to empower immigrants by providing a clear understanding of their legal and civic rights. Through digital resources and community partnerships, KYR equips students with practical knowledge on topics such as student rights, interactions with law enforcement, and immigration-related protections. To ensure accuracy, IAYL has partnered with Patel & Samatova Law, PLLC, a local immigration law firm. Additionally, with the support of numerous local businesses, community organizations, and places of worship, the campaign has reached hundreds across the Charlotte area.
