Know Your Rights Campaign
Indian American Youth Leadership’s Know Your Rights (KYR) Initiative is a nonpartisan educational program designed to empower immigrants from diverse nationalities by providing a clear understanding of their legal, civil, and civic rights. Through digital resources and community partnerships, KYR equips students with practical knowledge on topics such as student rights, interactions with law enforcement, immigration-related protections, and civic participation. Additionally, IAYL has partnered with Patel & Samatova Law, PLLC, a local immigration law firm, in order to expand the campaign's reach and serve immigrants in the Charlotte area. We thank them for their cooperation and support of the campaign, and look forward to working with them again soon. More information and resources are available through our website and social platforms.
Internship Program
Indian American Youth Leadership’s Internship Program is a dynamic, collaborative initiative designed to empower young leaders to create impact in their local communities and beyond. Through a segmented, multiple cohort approach—Research, Finance, Management, and Capstone internships—the program gives participants hands-on experience in areas such as problem-solving, fundraising, project management, and cross-disciplinary collaboration that are vital in today’s business and professional world. Students applying for any of the following internships must be committed, hardworking, and collaborative in order to ensure the program is successful. Our officer team will always be ready and willing to help out interns when they need assistance and when they have any questions. Applications are available on our bio and on the Remind.
