Copy Editor

On The Scout staff, I copyedited a total of 21 weekly publications, totaling more than 250 stories.

I joined The Bradley Scout in September of 2023 as a full-time copy editor. In addition to reporting and writing an average of two stories each week, I had a hand in copy editing most every story The Scout published on its website and in select print and PDF editions. I collaborated with reporters to clarify facts. I edited copy with consideration of journalistic ethics and best practices.
