Who is #IamABE?

#IamABE is an ever evolving group of staff, teachers, and leaders in adult education who are committed to advocating for ABE, creating awareness about who adult education serves and what it does, and amplifying students' voices.

In our efforts to do these three things, #IamABE has written curriculum and lesson through an equity lense. The standards-aligned materials are all free for teachers to download and use or adapt. We have also developed professional development and workshops to help instructors integrate self-advocacy into their instruction. Finally, we also host and co-host advocacy events such as the ABE Day on the Hill.
