Description of Artwork:
On my drape I have painted a traditional art form called Madhubani on one side of the elephant drape and on the other it is Gond art style. I have used fabric and acrylic paints to create this composition, I have tried to portray that when we as humans respect and take care of all life forms including our marine life, our environment and our forests and trees we all thrive together.
I am a multimedia artist gravitating more towards watercolors. I like to express myself in different mediums, and enjoy creating and innovating in different art styles,. Subjects which inspire and motivate me are from nature like, florals, birds, trees, landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes. I like to use a good mix of bold and soft shades to create a relaxing feeling. I also love to create traditional art styles of India. I am member of various art organizations and am in a few galleries. One of my traditional Indian art pieces called “Balance Of Nature”was also selected by the De Young museum in San Francisco two years back. It was on display there for a quarter, the objective in creating my art is that it brightens up a space in someone’s house and brings joy and can be enjoyed for a long period.
