Ceruleans

Cerulean technology is by far the most advanced of any in the Hyperbeing Universe, being the only species to develop en-masse antimatter manufacture and hypron-based technology independantly of Hyperbeing influence. It is probably the oldest space-faring civilization in the Milky Way. Cerulean spacecraft are deep blue in colour and organically shaped. They are filled mostly with water, but also use air pockets for shock absorption. For weaponry, Ceruleans use sustained strong nuclear force beams which project powerful gluon fields across a target vessel, causing it to lose cohesion at the sub-atomic level. No other race has been able to develop a defense system against this weapon.

Space Flight / Technology

Ceruleans generally refuse to become involved in any conflict if they can avoid it, despite having technology far in advance of even the Hyperbeings.

The Cerulean Domain covers a very large, and mostly spherical region with their home system near the center. Before Humans became an interstellar civilization, the Earth system was inside of Cerulean space. Ceruleans are a very powerful but private species, so their border initially kept Earth safe from Acidian invasion. When Humans began using warp drive to expand to new stars the Ceruleans made first contact, and being fairly reasonable, gave Humanity a generous portion of space between Earth and the former Cerulean border. This simultaneously gave the Earth Union freedom to explore and expand, but also left them vulnerable to the Acidians and the pirate factions of Naghaft.
