Born in 1964 in Berlin, he grew up without modern technology and learned programming on a Unix system in 1980. Since the early 1990s, he has been proficient in internet use, aiding in his understanding of evolving digital tools. Since 1999, he has been involved in HydroWeb and later HydroEurope, collaborating globally in hydroinformatics. As a civil engineering graduate, he played a key role in the preparation of the HydroEurope 2024 event, managing the Google platform and supervising case study teams.
After completing engineering studies between the Philippines and Singapore, where she specialized in Civil, Environmental, and then Water Resources, she opted to pursue a PhD in the Cottbus University. She currently leads a thesis on flood modeling which focuses on the problematics linked to the climate change and she proposed to tutors students for two weeks as part of the HydroEurope project.
I am a Water Resources professional with expertise in hydrologic and hydrodynamic modeling. Before joining the Master's program in Hydroinformatics and Water Management with an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, I achieved three years of experience in national and international projects. During this time, I have refined my skills in data analysis, modeling, GIS, communication, and project management. I am deeply committed to sustainability and driven to make a meaningful impact on water resource management for a more sustainable future.
Currently an apprentice in flood risk management at CEREMA, I aspire to be a key player in addressing contemporary water-related challenges such as resource depletion and intensified flooding. With a comprehensive water engineering education, I aim to contribute to resolving issues like inadequate access to essential infrastructure. Alongside my studies, I am involved in automating flood mapping in the Aix-Marseille-Provence region, utilizing software like RStudio. My goal is to further my development in water engineering to apply my skills for the betterment of humanity.
I am a Water Resources student engineer with a Master in Hydroinformatics and Water Management from Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg and Newcastle University. During a summer internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, I honed my Python programming skills. My expertise includes flood risk analysis, water resource management, surface water hydrology, teamwork, and written communication.
I am a final year water engineering student at Polytech Nice Sophia, passionate about water resource management and the prevention of water-related natural disasters. I have the opportunity to explore the field of river restoration, and I am enthusiastic about the contribution it makes to the preservation of our environment.
A University of Chester geography graduate interested in hydrology and hydrogeology, with experience in agriculture and flood/water management. Currently studying a masters in hydrology at Newcastle University.
Final year at Newcastle University studying MEng Civil Engineering specialising in hydrology and flood risk management. Particular interests including flood risk management and achieving a net zero transport system.
I am currently pursuing a Master's in Civil Engineering at Newcastle University. Prior to this, I undertook an internship in Cambodia where I had the opportunity to support entrepreneurs in disadvantaged communities, contributing to local economic development. Working closely with a local team, we provided business training, advice, and interest-free loans to individuals seeking to expand their small businesses. This experience not only enhanced my cultural awareness and emotional intelligence through interactions with diverse communities but also provided me with invaluable teamwork skills.
In my final year at Polytech Nice Sophia engineering school, specializing in Water Engineering, where I focus on various water networks, including distribution and storage. Passionate about hydraulics and deeply concerned about environmental issues, I aim to remain actively involved in this sector. My interest was initially sparked through my studies and further deepened during an internship at the Aix-Marseille Metropolis.
Currently in the final year of engineering school at Polytech Nice Sophia, I am specializing in WSS (Water Society and Service). My passion lies in urban hydraulics and the exploration of new technologies for water distribution and storage.
I enrolled in the Master's program in Hydrotechnological and Environmental Project Management to deepen my skills in coordinating projects related to water, technology, and the environment. My goal is to play a significant role in environmental preservation by actively contributing to the efficient implementation of hydrotechnological projects, adapting my knowledge to the constantly evolving needs of this sector.
Graduate of a Hydraulic and Rural Development engineering program, my innate passion for physical sciences naturally found resonance in the field of water. To enhance my knowledge and skills in this domain, I chose to pursue the HYDROPROTECH Master 2 program at the Côte Azur University, a choice that I believe aligns best with my professional goals.
