7th grade English is doing a unit about how humans effect the enviroment and in that we are reading My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George. In this book the students are learning all about living on the land.
8th grade English is doing a unit on inventions and how they effect human lives and in that unit we are reeding H. G. Wells' Time Machine. In this book the students are learning scienfiction and inventions sometimes go together.
