Integrated M.S./Ph.D. Program
(2026. 03 - Present)
I am interested in how metabolism- and stress-related signals from the tumor microenvironment impair T-cell function, and in the mechanisms that can restore these functions. Outside the lab, I love café hopping but I’m also a happy homebody who enjoys staying in and relaxing :)
Internship Program
I’m fascinated by how cytoskeletal regulation shapes T-cell metabolism and function, and I aim to use these insights to develop better immune cell therapies for solid cancers. Outside the lab, I love watching movies, exploring cozy cafés, and taking walks while listening to music!
I will explore the mechanisms by which the tumor microenvironment(TME) and visceral adipose tissue(VAT) suppress T-cell function. And I want to develop strategies to restore T-cell activity in these environments. When I'm not in the lab, I like drawing, eating dessert or simply relaxing at home.
I have a strong interest in developing next-generation CAR-T cell therapies that maximize T cell function through precise control of immunometabolic mechanisms. In particular, I aim to explore cellular therapy strategies that leverage metabolic reprogramming to sustain potent anti-tumor activity. Outside the lab, I enjoy visiting new cafés and spending quiet time knitting, which helps me organize my thoughts and recharge.
I am interested in how cytoskeletal dynamics and cellular metabolism interact to regulate T-cell function. I am particularly fascinated by how structural changes within cells influence immune responses and cell fate. Through studying cytometabolism in T cells, I aim to gain deeper insight into immune regulation. Outside the lab, I enjoy exploring new restaurants and watching movies.
I am interested in how T-cell function is constrained under unfavorable conditions and how these constraints can be reversed. I aim to understand the regulatory mechanisms behind T-cell dysfunction during therapy and apply this knowledge todevelop more durable cell-based immunotherapies. Outside the lab, I enjoy exploring new restaurants and spending time listening to music.
