Welcome back, CHS!
Welcome to Hopewell Valley Central High School! The CHS PTO is a non-profit organization that supports all students within our school community. One of our main goals is to foster communications among parents, students, faculty and administration. Expect to see the Dog Byte newsletter in your inbox every other Tuesday morning. If you are not receiving the Dog Byte, please navigate to the Membership Toolkit homepage and scroll down to the "Register or Log In" button. HVRSD does not share your contact information with the PTO, so please create an account so we can provide information to you throughout the school year. Refer to the "Class of" sections of the Dog Byte for grade-specific information about parent representatives, staff advisors and events/fundraisers.
We look forward to working with new and returning members during the upcoming year and encourage you to get involved and to keep informed by attending our monthly meetings. Meetings will be held in-person at 9:00am on the third Wednesday of the month (omit December and June). The more involved you are, the more you will appreciate the importance of the PTO and how it enhances your child's school experience.
The CHS PTO is active in fundraising. This year we are requesting your support with our Annual Appeal. Funds are used to support FREE access to the Membership Tool Kit (the school directory), and to support teacher mini-grants, student scholarships, enrichment programs, assemblies, and more. Additionally, we will continue to sell 4”x 8” personalized bricks to be placed around the high school’s front entrance flag pole.
Once again, welcome! We look forward to supporting the CHS community. Please feel free to contact us to make suggestions, ask questions, or to volunteer. We look forward to a great year with all of our students, parents, teachers and staff. We are stronger when we work together!

Communications & Information Sharing
There are general PTO and class specific webpages. Additionally, there are general PTO and class specific facebook pages. All class specific information relative to events, dates, announcements and fundraisers can be advertised on these pages in advance of an event. If you have information you would like to post, please contact Communications Secretary: Meghan O'Connor or one of your Class Parent Reps.
The DogByte is the newsletter for the HVCHS PTO.
The DogByte is posted every other Tuesday. Information must be submitted no later than the Friday prior to publication. If you have something that you would like to post in the newsletter, please contact: Janet Pressel.
If your family is not receiving the DogByte newsletter every other Tuesday, please visit the CHS MTK homepage and scroll to "Register or Log In" to create an account. Families must OPT IN to receive CHS PTO communications; HVRSD does not share your contact information with us. If you continue to have problems, please email our database/directory volunteer.

The HVCHS PTO will continue to use Membership Toolkit for our Student Directory and Communications for this school year.
Once you update your Membership Toolkit Account you will have access to the directory, PTO newsletters, donation links, and more.
You must update your information every year to be included in the directory! Here's how:
LOGIN at hopewellvalleychspto.membershiptoolkit.com. (You must login with the email that the message you're currently reading is addressed to. Ninth Grade families will be able to login with their Timberlane login info!)
Complete the Parent/Family and Student Information.
Complete the Directory/Publish Preferences.
