Community Service and Volunteer Opportunities
The HVCHS PTO partners with other school PTOs in our district and organizations in our community to share opportunities for CHS students to make a meaningful impact by sharing their time and talents. This effort aligns with the Service Learning Pathyway at CHS and supports any student seeking volunteer experience.
We are happy to share information about service opportunities for the benefit of the community. Please contact Meg O'Connor if you have a service or volunteer opportunity you wish to publicize through the CHS PTO.
Please note:
** Students should direct questions to each organization; the CHS PTO cannot answer questions about each opportunity.
** If a student's availability changes and they are no longer able to make the event for which they have signed up, they should update the sign up and communicate the change with the contact person in a timely manner.
** Some opportunities list specific hours; other opportunities require students to keep track of their own hours. Students are responsible for obtaining any necessary verification of hours from the organizations they choose to support. The PTO cannot verify hours for other organizations.
