Overview 

Visible Light communications (VLC) is a wireless communication technology that uses visible light to transmit data. VLC’s transmitters have a very important role to the system, especially the LED controller, therefore, the need for a circuit that can perform that function is the LED Driver.

Purpose

The LED driver uses a DC-DC converter for converting voltage from 48V into 12V and regulating the load current with high efficiency and  dimming frequency is 2kHz.

Development Direction

Implement closed-loop for the next manufacture and further optimize components.
