Prospective students

We are always welcome highly self-motivated PhD students as well as master students. We also offer opportunities for research students and internship students mainly for prospective PhD and master students.

• Lab Experience (Short-term Internship)
  We offer prospective students various programs to grasp the school, including open school events, spring and summer seminars.

• Internship students
  We accept internship students, mainly for prospective PhD and master students. Please consult us regarding the vacancy, possible research theme, duration, etc.
  The length of the internship is from four months to a year.

【Ideal candidate profile 】

• To build and/or control robots and other mechanical systems with their own hands.

• To be strongly interested in easy-to-use/easy-to-handle robots and mechanical systems.

•  To clarify the mechanisms of human sensory information processing and motor control using robotics and information technology.

Research on mechanical systems and human behavior analysis often requires a lot of work. We welcome enthusiastic students who can take their time to tackle such problems. We hope that you will be able to dramatically improve your abilities through research activities in our laboratory!
