Finally, big brands are starting to make things happen!
Garnier, the French cosmetic company, has launched its first shampoo bars. These shampoos have the same benefits as other Garnier shampoo:
"Highly nourishing shampoo, easy to lather and fast rinse formula.
94% plant-origin nourishing ingredients: the remaining 6% are not animal derived ingredients and guarantee the fragrance and an overall high-quality product.
97% biodegradable formula.
Lasts for up 2 months of use.
Yes Vegan Formula: No animal ingredients or by-products.
No silicones for a natural feel".
The difference is that they are sold in a small cardboard box. This means: it's plastic free! "The Zero Plastic Way To Softer Hair" as they said in their ad. They also explain the way to use them. Four blends are available (Coco, Ginger, Honey, Oat) for 60g. It is a good way to change our everyday habits.
It is a real positive thing to see that large companies finally offer ecofriendly solutions available for consumers. Indeed, we can make some changes, but we need to work together to reach our goal.
Companies, big or small, need to offer products adapted to our today's needs. These shampoo bars show that we can easier consume better :
-> find these products everywhere (in stores or on the Internet),
-> no need to spend too much money in it (less than 6€).
