Special issue

A special issue from this conference is planned for publication in Tourism Management Perspectives, but the full paper is only required post conference. More information on this will be sent to registered delegates after the conference.

Abstract Submission Criteria

Please follow these guidelines when submitting your paper. The abstract should be no more than 600 words. Within this:

• Provide the full title of the paper as it will appear in the conference program.
• Please indicate your thematic area & preferred conference format (see above)
• Include a list of authors, first name, surname and institutional affiliation Please underline the name of the author who will be attending the conference.
• In no more than 40 words, please tell us about the presenter. We are not asking for the standard bio statement but who the presenter is at the core, his/her values towards work and scholarship/the motivation behind the submitted paper.

An example of this could be: Catheryn Khoo-Lattimore researches women in tourism, and concentrates on the Asian market and workforce because she identifies with the people she researches.

• Include an introduction that provides an overview of the paper and the significance of the research.
• A succinct literature review that provides the background and outlines the context and/or academic literature that informs the research.
• A section that outlines research approach and method (for empirical research).
• A description and application of the research findings (for full papers).
• A conclusion that provides a summation of the paper and its contribution to the themes of this conference.
• Use your preferred reference style.
