INTEGRA-DM1 Project (Piñera Call 2025) (2026–2028):

The INTEGRA-DM1 project aims to address an urgent need in DM1, namely to understand and manage the disease in a more comprehensive, integrated, and personalized manner through the generation and evaluation of multi-omics data (transcriptome, metabolome, microbiome) at different levels in DM1 patients. This will enable the creation of unique databases for this pathology and the identification of useful biomarkers for prognosis, diagnosis, and management of DM1, allowing, for example, anticipation of the type of clinical manifestations that may develop in a patient, their form and severity, or how the disease will respond to a specific treatment.
