If you have completed one of our courses before, then you can complete Day 1 of the workshop online at a time and location that suits you. Otherwise, you should come to the sessions that we run at the University. We will help you with any questions you have about the online modules and can also provide some equipment (such as Makey Makeys, Microbits and Android tablets) for you to use when completing your chosen module.
Day 2 will take place in a computer lab at the the University of Newcastle's Callaghan campus. The second day will be focused on preparing a professional learning event for your colleagues, Professional Learning Community and/or school community members.
This workshop has been developed in a partnership with Google.
The schedules for both of the days, and the materials for the hands-on activities, are available on these pages:
If you would like to use any of the workshop materials in your classroom, or if you would like modify them in any way, you are welcome to do so, provided that you acknowledge the original source(s). We have also included links to extra resources on the Resources page.
