Overview:
The 7th and 8th grade team is dedicated to helping players refine and elevate their field hockey skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. Participants will focus on mastering advanced techniques such as precision passing, powerful shooting, and effective ball control under pressure. Players will also learn tactical skills, including strategic positioning, game awareness, and the ability to read opponents' movements. Additionally, the team will emphasize defensive strategies, such as effective tackling, marking, and creating turnovers, as well as enhancing teamwork and communication on the field.
There are no tryouts and no cuts, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate and develop their skills. Throughout the season, players will compete in games against other teams in the Badgers division of the South Jersey Youth Field Hockey League, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a sense of community.
