Overview:
The 3rd and 4th grade team is dedicated to helping players master fundamental field hockey skills while fostering a love for the game. All players are encouraged to learn and enjoy playing alongside their friends in a supportive environment. There are no tryouts and no cuts, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate and grow. Throughout the season, players will engage in games against other teams in the Bitty Badgers division of the South Jersey Youth Field Hockey League, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a sense of community.
Schedule:
Practices start mid to late August and are held two nights per week. There are a total of 8 games played over 6 weeks starting in early September. Games are on Saturdays between 8:00am – 2:00 pm at Total Turf in Pitman or Gloucester Township Park. Final practice times and game schedule will be communicated from the coach by mid-August.
Cost: Fee for this program is $125.

* Players this age will likely need a 28″ – 33″ stick, depending on height. Stick should be hip height. We recommend going to HerSport in Cherry Hill for help with selecting the right gear for your player.
