Michael Kashak was invited to the 2015 CFL's national combine, where he was drafted in the 6th round by the Calgary Stampeders in the 2016 CFL draft.

Michael played for Calgary as #99 Defensive End, culminating in being on the 2018 Grey Cup winning team.
