When you've made significant revisions to a piece of writing, sometimes it's useful to take a look and see exactly what you've added or removed. There are several useful tools for this.
Copy/paste the old version in the left box.
Copy/paste the new version in the right box.
Click Compare.
Look below to see the changes. Added text should be in green. Removed text should be in red.
Save the webpage as a PDF.
In Chrome, File → Print → Save as PDF.
In Firefox, File → Print → Save as PDF.
In Safari, File → Export to PDF → Save.
You should have the Old Version as a Google Doc and the New Version as a different Google Doc.
Open the Old Version.
Click Tools → Compare documents.
Select the New Version as the comparison document.
Write your name in the Attribute differences to box.
Click Compare.
Look at the resulting file to see the changes. Old text should be crossed out, and new text should be in color.
To print, you might need to download the file first. Click File → Download → Microsoft Word (.docx). Open the document in Microsoft Word, and print from there.
