This section documents selected academic and collaborative activities conducted within the university environment. These experiences extend formal coursework through direct participation in scientific observation, interdisciplinary interaction, and departmental events.
Participated in a live-streamed observation of the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024 at IU Indianapolis, located directly within the path of totality. As a physics student, assisted with monitoring observational equipment and supporting the livestream setup. Taking part in broadcasting this rare astronomical event from one of the best viewing locations in the United States was an exciting experience.
Experimental Biophysics Research
Participated in laboratory research investigating vitamin E interactions with lipid membranes.
Used fluorescence spectroscopy and a fluorescence fluorometer to measure membrane properties and molecular behavior.
This work included sample preparation, instrument operation, and analysis of experimental data in a research setting.
Board Game with Mathematicians
Regularly joined board game gatherings with mathematics graduate students. Many of the games involved logic, strategy, and careful decision-making, which made these gatherings both intellectually engaging and socially meaningful. They also helped me build connections with the graduate math community in a natural and enjoyable setting.
Campus Without Boundaries
To me, campus is not defined by buildings or schedules, but is the space where my real existence unfolds and continues to grow.
Whenever I have the opportunity, I go out into nature, a part of the universe that I am deeply drawn to explore. I walk, watch, and enjoy. I pay attention to how things move and change.
Sometimes I go fishing with physics graduate students. For me, studying and living are not separate; they are simply the way I exist in the universe.
Served as a Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL) leader for introductory chemistry. Facilitated structured problem-solving sessions and guided collaborative learning in small groups.
Provided individual and small-group tutoring in undergraduate mathematics courses, supporting students in conceptual understanding and problem-solving strategies.
Offered tutoring in physics courses, assisting students with foundational concepts, quantitative reasoning, and structured solution methods.
