Drivebase Classwork

Students will build various drivebases using their robotics kits. 

Lesson Notes

Students in their groups will build each drivebase one by one. Students should copy the examples and sketch their design with labels in their notebook. Once completed, the students will demonstrate the drivebase to the teacher who will initial or stamp it in their notebook. 

Drivebase Classwork

1. Build a 1:1 tank drive with a HIGH turning scrub. 

2. Build a 1:1 tank drive with a LOW turning scrub. 

3. Build a 2-wheel drive with HIGH torque, LOW speed using a square chassis and arcade drive. 

4. Build a 2-wheel drive with LOW torque, HIGH speed using a square chassis and arcade drive.
