I’m proud to see the logo design my team and I created become the new identity of "Alps Goodness," a sub-brand of Purplle.
Soap packaging design for the brand "Lush". A complete handmade and hundred percent vegan soap manufacturing cosmetic company. This is one of my assignments from college. We had to make the package taking inspiration from any artist, and incorporate his/her style of painting in our design. The style of Paul Klee appealed to me, from his painting "Temple Gardens". I painted a piece of watercolor paper in a similar style, which acted as the background for the design. Further, I used Adobe Illustrator for designing the logo and other elements.
Ambigram
A typographical design consisting of text modified in such a way that it can be read in multiple orientations, as in mirror image, inverted, or when rotated.
I fell in love with the concept of ambigram after reading "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown. I felt like creating an ambigram of my own, and so I did. Of my own name Hrishi.
Entry for a design event. We were given 10 songs (5 English and 5 Hindi) and had to make cover art for that music album.
I wanted to best depict the song list in the album through the cover. I did my research and found out that all the songs were released in the late 1970s. That was the time when Gramophones production reduced and production of cassettes grew. So Gramophone was a perfect connection to that era.
I wanted to make the cover art very attractive as majorly it will be viewed on a mobile screen with other album covers. It had to have pick me up element, so I chose a vibrant primary color scheme with the majority of red and yellow (portraying the happy and romantic songs in the album)

Social Issue Matte Painting
I chose this topic because I see transgender people around me and I never understood why they are secluded from society? Why do they clap they do? How do these people emerge in society? I did my research on the topic, read articles, saw videos, and prepared a questionnaire to ask the common people what they thought about the transgender community. As I did all this, I was shocked to see the true condition of the transgender community, and what all they have to do just to earn a living. One of the main reasons why the transgender community is facing so many difficulties is because of non-acceptance of the society. The family themselves don’t accept their children. It was challenging for me to think of a particular way to present my thoughts. How should I convey the message that they are just like us? What all they have to do just to earn living!
I chose an image of a random Indian boy with long hair and added the elements which are associated with Indian transgender. The hand on the back convey multiple meaning. One, the hand represents the sexual touch, many of the transgender are compelled to be prostitutes to earn a living. Second, they have no support from society or even their own family! The transgender community is the only support they have. Third, the hand gesture resembles that of giving ‘aashirvad’, when looked at horizontally. The ‘aashirvad’ or blessing is a common thing Indian transgender give in return for money or any food offering. The coin with the hand-clapping symbolizes transgender begging for money with their iconic loud claps. The coin is placed near the stomach symbolizing what they have to do for getting one meal. The background is a collage of two Indian deities Ardhanarishvara (Ardhanarishvara form is an asexual composite of Shiva and goddess Parvati, his wife), and Mohini (Vishnu becomes Mohini when gender-adaptability (here it’s not masculinity but femininity) is called for, to solve a problem. Beyond the role of the savior, the implications in dual-genderism and fluid sexuality are more analogical, wherein each person lies in the male and the female)
