On September 17, City Council will hear the Community Trust Resolution. This resolution was created by and for the community in Oceanside. After continued organizing and conversation, it was placed on the agenda with the support of Councilmember Jimmy Figueroa and Deputy Mayor Eric Joyce. The resolution would stop ICE collaboration, protect community data, and support families in Oceanside.
What you can do:
EMAIL Oceanside City Council and Mayor Sánchez asking them to vote YES.
Join the Community RALLY at 4 PM on September 17 (Pier View Way & North Coast Highway, corner of the Oceanside Public Library). We will rally together and then enter City Hall for the council meeting.
SHOW UP at Oceanside City Hall on September 17 at 5 PM.
Bring friends, family, neighbors.
