In 2023, I ruptured my left ACL playing socccer. It was a struggle working through the rehabilitation process especially with the insurance limiting the amount of physical therapy visits I had. My PT had recommended Connor to further continue my rehab. Three years later and my knee is stronger that it was before thanks to the functional and transformative technical training sessions that Connor designs. This turned into small group session that has allowed me to continue to hit the slopes, mountain bike, and continue my active lifestyle with more knowledge of what my body needs in order to stay strong, functional, and fluid. The dedication and attention Connor brings to every session is unmatched, and the level of confidence I have has allowed me to carry on my outdoor passions after injury and push my body to the limit.

I've trained with Connor for over three years, and the results have been transformative. I went from working out without meaningful progress to building measurable strength, balance, and agility through intentional, technically sound training.
As someone active in running, swimming, hiking, skiing, and team sports, I value how he focuses on proper movement and adjusts instantly when minor injuries surface. His ability to pivot while keeping progress moving forward is exceptional.
Connor brings professionalism, deep knowledge, and a genuine investment in his client's goals and genuinely fun to train with.. Because of his coaching, I show up stronger and more capable in everything I do.

Working with Connor Rouse has been amazing! At 52 and as a former D1 athlete, I am stronger, more fit, and more confident than ever before.
Connor’s expertise and personality is unmatched; he tailors every program specifically to my goals of gaining muscle and achieving overall body strength balance. His coaching style taps into my competitive drive, pushing and encouraging me in a way that is both positive and highly enthusiastic. His expansive variety of rotating programs ensure that every area is targeted, and I consistently see incredible strength results in just one week. I’ve made more progress in overall strength and conditioning in one month with Connor than in 35 years of working out with other trainers or on my own.
What truly sets him apart is his knowledge of injury recovery. Having dealt with 5 different ligament and tendon tears over the years, I've seen how he can safely tweak a program to rehab injuries while maintaining gym progress—frankly, more effectively than any physical therapist I’ve worked with. He is by far the best trainer I’ve ever worked with!

When I first met Connor in late summer 2022, I was recovering from ACL replacement surgery, having completed physical therapy. Possessing an active lifestyle and being a moderate skier before my injury, I needed to rebuild strength beyond my previous capacity to get back on the mountain. My surgeon was clear: my typical yoga and dog walking routines wouldn't be enough.
Connor developed a targeted plan for my goals, and through our combined perseverance, I was back on skis 347 days post-rupture. Now three and a half years later, training twice weekly, both legs perform equally — I can't remember the last time I noticed a difference; my strength, endurance, and balance have surpassed my pre-injury levels. During this time, we've also tackled an Achilles tendon issue, a cranky forearm, and a pesky shoulder along the way. According to my husband, I now ski with resilience, confidence, and beautiful form. I'm the strongest I've ever been.
Beyond the measurable results, what keeps me training with Connor is trust, understanding, and the fact that he's genuinely an exceptional person. I’ve observed him build meaningful relationships with every client, and his positive energy has created a loyal community of dedicated people, so much so that at times group sessions feel like a happy hour with friends. Training with Connor has proved to be a wonderful, as well as a literally powerful way to make important health and lifestyle choices.

As a parent, trusting someone with your child’s development is a big decision, and training with Connor was one of the best we made.
My daughter worked with him for three years during her competitive prep school run. His education, experience, and specifically his Division I strength and conditioning background showed in every session. He prepared her for the next level with purposeful programming, high standards, and real accountability. Over that time, she became stronger, better conditioned, and mentally tougher, finishing high school with a clear competitive edge and ultimately being recruited to a Division I program.
She continues to train with him during her summer breaks, and Connor integrates the program sent home by her college coaches with his own programming to ensure she stays on track and keeps progressing. We are incredibly grateful for the role he has played in her growth and success.

Working with Connor for the past two+ years has been nothing short of transformative. I often joke that he’s magic—but honestly, it doesn’t feel like much of an exaggeration. Every issue or injury I’ve brought to him from tennis—ankle, knee, lower back—he’s addressed thoughtfully and effectively with a plan that actually works.
At 50, I feel stronger, more balanced, and more flexible than I have in years. My posture has completely changed (I genuinely can’t slouch anymore even if I try), and my tennis game has improved tenfold thanks to the tailored programs he creates.
Beyond his expertise, Connor is simply a pleasure to work with—he’s kind, funny, and clearly loves what he does. That combination of skill and genuine care makes a huge difference.
I can’t recommend him highly enough.
