IOL TIPS & TRICKS

  • It might be easier to open a new tab to navigate the scavenger hunt steps, instead of going back and forth from the lesson. When I tried to keep it all in one tab, I got super frustrated. Students can open a new tab with right-click + "Open in new tab."

  • If you can open the Scavenger Hunt document but you can't type, you may need to click the "enable editing" button at the top of the screen.

  • If you can't open the Scavenger Hunt document, you may need to upload it to Office 365 or download a program that can open Word files like Open Office.

  • When it gets to the Raise Your Hand question... my IOL didn't have a Raise Your Hand forum in there, so they may need to go to another class or just write on their scavenger hunt doc that they didn't have a Raise Your Hand forum.
