Overview of JROTC:
The Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) is a high school program that focuses on motivating young people into better citizens. This is NOT a military preparation program, and there is no obligation for students to join the military. Rather, JROTC centers on building essential life skills in Cadets, helping them grow as leaders in their communities and beyond.
The JROTC program is designed to foster growth, leadership, and personal growth in Cadets. The Army JROTC curriculum includes leadership development, civics, communication skills, physical fitness & wellness, and geography.
Why JROTC?
As one of the most successful high school programs, JROTC makes a meaningful impact on both schools and communities. Its benefits are reflected through improved confidence, discipline, teamwork, and other essential metrics that prepare Cadets for future success.
