HOVERHORSE BIOGRAPHY:

The Hover Horse band formed in 2024. The current lineup consists of Chris Lamb (guitar, vocals), Spider Bishop (bass, vocals), and Lindsay Sutherland (drums, percussion). They revel in the swagger of punk rock and new wave colliding with the heart of country music.

Conjuring a sound of The Cars meeting Wilco, R.E.M. meeting The Skydiggers, Death Cab for Cutie meeting Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Hover Horse offers an audible point of country grit up against post-modern punk rock. The result is powerful, lyrical, and fun. We call it Hard Twang.

Hover Horse originated as the project of singer-songwriter Chris Lamb. Three studio albums were released under the moniker in 2012, 2016 and 2022.
