To become part of a team there is a two Step procedure to ensure the smooth progression of the event.
It is strongly advised that the player gets familiar with the streamer by watching their broadcast before applying to a team because once a player is Registered (as described in Step 2) and their MMR is approved, that player cannot change team for the duration of the competition. Therefore choose wisely.
Players that want to join a team must first specifically apply to the team, by filling out their "Player Application" form. This form is found on the team page that can be found in the "Competing Teams" page.
This form will collect important information to help the team decide if the candidate fits their roster, but more importantly, it will be used by the Organizers as a tool to protect the player and the streamer if cheating allegation are made. The form is similar to a contract where the Organizers promise that they will enforce the rules and their sanctions if the spirit of the competition is not respected, while the player promises that they are not providing misleading information and that they will do everything in their power to make this event as fair as possible.
If the team want the player to be added to their roster, the Streamer must follow the procedure described in the following section "Step 2: Team Registering a New Player".
First, the streamer must make sure the player has filled out their "Player Application" form. If they haven't or find it too tedious to fill out, take it as a sign that the player might not be dedicated enough for a competitive environment like this event. This form is also a crucial tool for studying a candidate and rooting out potential troublesome players. Although the player application is also a form of protection in case cheating accusation are made concerning that player, it will not protect the team from losing a round if the violations were made during a match. It is also the streamer's responsibility to be thorough with studying each applicant and making sure to supply all pertinent information for a fair MMR review. Make sure to not restrict your analysis of the player's skill only to the first page of hotslog.
Only Registration filled out by the streamer (logged into their email because the form automatically collects emails) will be considered for review. This is to insure the player truly is approved by the streamer.
Once the registration is done, make sure to notify all three Organizers.
