- Help to generate conversations and in both Twitch chats
While the streamer is not able to look at chat, their audience may become bored. This is why we want to do our best to liven their chats, making sure that we are doing what we can to make their channel fun.
- Help by answering questions and moderating the Twitch chats
Sometimes, streamers have their mods playing on their team. While we will not have any official power in these streams, we should do our best to maintain the chat and settle any troll nonsense as best we can.
- Gather clips for highlights
Try your best to catch key plays and clip these when you can. If you aren’t able to clip it, then make note of the time, round, etc. so we can come back to it later.
- Join the game as an observer and participate in the Discord voice chats
Before and after each match, we hold a group meeting in the Heroes Gathering channel. Here we review the rules, review the game and any key plays that may have happened, and have a chance to all get together as one to help inspire a sense of community. Do your best to keep a positive atmosphere and ask questions that spark conversation. During the games, Moderators and League Organizers join together to talk about the game.
When we select our Moderators, we will organize a time for a ‘class’ where we will review the rules of the league and what we expect. If you are interested in this position, we are now taking applications for individuals who are motivated and knowledgeable about the league.
