The 8-Day Yogic Reset is a small-group residential programme at Hotel Lakeside, beside Shivsagar Lake in Khajuraho.
Over eight days and seven nights, we gradually build a personal yoga practice through yogic breathing, pranayama, Hatha, Ashtanga, selected kriyas, sound practices and stillness.
The aim is not to rush through a collection of techniques. It is to learn, practise, understand and gradually make the practices your own.
Day 1 — Arrive & Settle
Arrive, settle in and become familiar with the place and the practice.
Days 2–3 — Foundation
Learn the basic movements, breathing practices and foundations of the programme.
Days 4–5 — Develop
Gradually develop the practice, introducing further asana, pranayama and appropriate breath control.
Days 6–7 — Deepen
Practise with greater independence, refinement and awareness.
Day 8 — Integrate
Bring everything together and understand how to continue your practice at home.
5:45 — Wake up
6:15–8:30 — Morning practice
9:00 — Breakfast
9:45 — Vajrasana / quiet time
10:15–12:30 — Rest & personal time
12:30 — Lunch
1:30–4:30 — Explore, walk, rest or experience Khajuraho
4:30 — Tea / personal time
5:30–6:30 — Evening pranayama & sound practice
7:30 — Dinner
8:30 — Quiet time
9:00 — Om / closing practice
After 9:15 — Prepare for sleep
The schedule provides structure without filling every hour. Rest, personal time and experiencing Khajuraho are part of the programme.
Yogic breathing, Nadi Shodhana, progressive breath control and Kumbhaka according to individual readiness.
Surya Namaskar A and B and selected practices from the Primary Series.
Marjariasana, Vyaghrasana, Virabhadrasana, Malasana and other elements introduced progressively.
Selected yogic kriyas, Bhramari, Udgīt, mantra chanting and Om.
We are not here to compete with ourselves or force the body and breath.
Practice begins with learning. Through repetition, it becomes familiar. With familiarity comes greater control, and gradually the practice can become more natural and relieving.
Accomplishment is not about doing more. It is being able to practise correctly without unnecessary effort.
Between practices, you have time to experience Khajuraho.
Visit the temples, walk around the lake, explore the surrounding landscape, or simply rest on the terrace.

Learn → Practise → Develop → Accomplish → Integrate
I cannot promise you a particular result in eight days.
I can teach you. I can guide you. I can observe your practice and help you understand it.
What happens through that practice depends on what you bring to it and what you continue afterwards.
Ultimately, yoga is something we do. It works through practice.
If this feels right for you, tell me a little about yourself, your experience with yoga, and what brings you to the programme.
