About Hosting
Hosting Details
May 14-28: Youth from East Asia and the Pacific Islands
July 10-28: Youth from sub-Saharan Africa
About one week is ideal (shorter stays welcome)
Weekday programming runs 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, led by PH staff
Host families provide:
Breakfast and dinner on weekdays
All meals on weekends
Minimal transportation to centralized weekday pick-up/drop-off locations
Who You’ll Host
Typically two students of the same gender
Each student needs their own bed (bedrooms may be shared)
Option to host one adult participant, if preferred
Host Requirements
Background check and brief interview
A welcoming home and openness to cultural exchange
**Please note: This form requests information about the potential host. PH program staff will conduct an in-person interview with approved candidates to complete this process. Completing this form does not obligate you to host, nor does it ensure you will be approved to host.**
