Florida Summer Fun
Photo/Video Outing

I am going to lead a summertime outing again. Cool off in remote Florida springs, create unique underwater photos and videos, make time lapse movies of dramatic summer skies, photograph sunsets, lightning, flowers, fish, and more. Most of all have some summertime fun! This is the perfect opportunity to make use of a wide variety of equipment to flex your creative muscles. Bring your DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, GoPro or other action cameras and any cameras that can go underwater as well as your drones if you have them. Description:

Specific itinerary details for the outing will be provided in detail to registered attendees. We will meet at 9:00 am on Aug 25th, 2025 for a kayak outing to several springs. Kayak rentals are available if you can't bring one of your own. After a day of photography/videography on the river and in several springs we will check in to our lodging and then go out for dinner together followed by a sunset shoot and the possibility of nighttime lightning photography.

On day two we will travel by car to a few more remote springs and some forest locations. creative emphasis will be on more above and underwater work, time lapse movie creation, landscape photography and aerial work if you have a drone. In the evening we will have another group dinner and then go out again in search of sunset and lightning photo/video ops.

Day three will offer photo/video opportunities in a unique landscape environment with limestone hills surrounding a crystal clear pond. Watch the video below:

Travel:

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to, from, and during the workshop. We will be based out of the Weeki Wachee, area in FL. During the workshop it is suggested but not required that attendees carpool to various photo locations and other destinations. 

Lodging: 

I will be basing the workshop/tour out of the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Spring Hill/Weeki Wachee.  Attendees may arrange lodging through my travel booking partner:
